Jun Kazama's TAG2 moveset re-worked and re-invented by me, in order to fit into Tekken 7's world. This mod was made using Kiloutre's Tekken Moveset Extractor, so huge props to him, it would have been impossible without his tool. Also huge thanks to everyone who helped me out on the Modding Discord server, you guys are the best!

And of course, special thanks to FergusFergus, KomandaKomanda, BbaezBbaez and ChangbangChangbang for always testing out the mod and sending feedback, it made the whole balancing process a lot easier, so go support them too!!

UPDATE 7 (V5.01) - 10/05/2022:

  • Adjusted Ukemi/Techroll to match the latest game update.
  • f,f+4: changed opponent's reaction on counter hit.
  • d/b+1,2: changed frame data on hit (+10 -> +12) and opponent's reaction on counter hit.
  • Fixed unintended behavior of u/f+4 on hit when close to the wall.
  • Fixed backturned moves not hitting the right way after a successful jump over crossup.
  • Fixed backturned moves damage.
  • Fixed some unintended behavior on Ukemi/Techroll near walls.

UPDATE 6 (V5.0) - 09/13/2022:

  • Balance update.

  • New tactics! Wall crush was implemented, both on hit and on block.

  • Multiple bug fixes: wrong damage, incorrect frame data, unintended behavior, etc.

UPDATE 3 - 06/18/2022:

  • Full moveset overhaul: several tweaks including damage buffs/nerfs, property changes, new moves, etc.
  • New unique rage drive: f+2+3 (can also be done from 1,2 - 1+4 - b+2,1 - f+3). The other rage drives were removed.
  • Some moves were removed/re-worked.
  • Several bug fixes.

UPDATE 2:

  • b+2,1,3: New move
  • f+1,3,1+2 / 1,1,3,1+2: Decreased damage (36 -> 24) and removed camera zoom-in on hit. New Just Frame version added (maximum delay)
  • WS 1: Changed hit level (High -> Middle), changed opponent's reaction on hit, counterhit and air and adjusted block reaction/frames
  • b+2,1: Increased range
  • b+2,1,4: Decreased range
  • d/b+1,2: Increased damage (20 -> 24)
  • GEN 1+2: Increased damage (20 -> 24)
  • IZU 1,2: Decreased damage (7,20 -> 6,17) and changed frame data on block (-11 -> -8)

UPDATE 1:

  • In some situations GEN 3+4 was able to be performed by inputting WS 3+4 (while standing or while landing after a jump). This has now been fixed.
  • Updated facial expressions for some intro/win poses.

DISCLAIMER

This moveset mod is based on Jun Kazama's TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 moveset, designed and animated by Bandai Namco and the Tekken Project. This is only a fan-made moveset, made by replicating existing behaviors and animations from TEKKEN 7, game also designed and animated by Bandai Namco and the Tekken Project. Any resemblance or similarity with unannounced or unreleased content for TEKKEN 7 is purely coincidental. The mod has been tested and it's safe to use.

HOW TO USE

This moveset mod was designed to be loaded with Tekken Moveset Extractor, being imported into memory in real-time. Once you've downloaded the tool, just extract the "PROJECT_JUN_SEASON4" folder into the "extracted_chars" folder (if it doesn't exist, create it). Then launch the game, and once it's fully loaded open the extractor, select the moveset and clic "Set Online Local player". CAUTION

The moveset works on any character, but I recommend using only Kazumi because the intro/outro poses were designed to work with her in-game camera set. Hitboxes may behave differently on bigger character models, so keep that in mind. DO NOT USE THIS MOVESET MOD ONLINE UNLESS YOUR OPPONENT ALSO HAS IT ENABLED OR IT WILL CAUSE DESYNCS AND YOU MIGHT GET BANNED. NEVER USE THIS MOVESET MOD IN RANKED BATTLES.
