With all the positive comments on my mods, I can’t help but keep giving you all more and more. This time, it’s another remake from a previous Tekken game. Say hello once again to one of the fan-favorite stages in the Tekken series... Eternal Darkness!

And not only that, Mirror Darkness is back as a final round transition!

God, this mod took a while to finish even though the idea sounded simple. I literally had to remake the textures for this one, and honestly, I didn’t want it to be an exact copy, so I got a little creative with how it looks and how it could feel in a modern game. I wouldn’t say this is exactly how it would look officially, but I think it’s close enough to the original stage’s vibe lol

Now that I’ve ranted enough about this mod, if you have any ideas for future updates or run into any issues with the stage, please let me know!

WHAT'S NEW?

- Fixed overall brightness and bloom

Adjusted and fixed the overall brightness and bloom of the stage, making it appear less overly bright and blurry. - Changed and fixed wall behavior

Completely replaced and redesigned the mirror wall with a unique version inspired by the vibes of the Eternal Darkness stage, making it fit the stage better while also being much easier to see as you get closer to it. - Fixed "Domain Expansion" Rage Arts

Fixed an issue where "Domain Expansion" Rage Arts would completely over-brighten the screen and characters.

- Fixed the mirrors in Mirror Darkness

Adjusted and fixed the mirrors inside Mirror Darkness, where they previously looked squished and too small. The mirrors now have the correct ratio and also feature the "Droste effect" that made the original stage unique. - Added access to Mirror Darkness in Practice Mode

It is now possible to choose which stage environment you want to play in during Practice Mode by going to Restart Settings → Stage Environment, allowing you to switch between Eternal Darkness (Day) and Mirror Darkness (Evening).

So, what does this stage offer?

• Completely remade high-quality textures created from scratch to give the stage a more modern look while staying true to the original atmosphere
• A dynamic spotlight system that follows the players instead of keeping the entire stage fully lit, helping recreate the dark and dramatic feel of the original stage
• A final round transition into a reimagined version of Mirror Darkness, recreated to stay faithful to the atmosphere and visual identity of the original stage, including the iconic mirrors that reflect the fight in real time
• A visible stage boundary designed as a reflective mirror wall that slowly reveals itself as players get closer, glowing blue to make wall distance easier to read for more consistent and precise wall carry setups and more...

Baobab Horizon → Eternal Darkness

How to Install:

• Download the mod files from here

• Unzip the contents

• Place the "Eternal Darkness" files into your TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Content\Paks\LogicMods folder

• And place the "UI" files into your TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Content\Movies\usm\StageSelect folder
