After watching half the player base magically ascend to God of Destruction thanks to Tekken’s latest rank inflation, I took it upon myself to perform a public service. I made a mod that changes every "God of Destruction" rank back to "Kishin." Not because I'm jealous but because watching people gain an ego the size of a mountain after being gifted three ranks by the matchmaking gods was becoming a genuine health hazard. The mod restores balance to the ecosystem by preventing freshly promoted players from developing acute Main Character Syndrome after winning two sets against a Wi-Fi Law. Now when someone posts their "God of Destruction" screenshot, they can enjoy the much more humble reality of seeing "Kishin" instead, which is still impressive, just not "I've started giving life advice in Discord servers" impressive. It's less of a mod and more of a rank inflation vaccine. Enjoy!
