Electric Editor (Huge Update)

Electric Editor

Recolour the Mishima electrics in TEKKEN 8 — live, layer by layer, from one small app.

No UE4SS. No DLLs. Nothing copied into your game folder. Just run ElectricEditor.exe alongside Tekken and it connects on its own.

Features

  • Live recolouring – changes show up in game instantly, no restart, no apply button
  • Every layer, separately – bolt, glow, outer arcs and trails each get their own colour
  • Solid or gradient – gradients run across the electric's whole life, from the fist to the fade
  • Brightness control and an option to keep the game's original fade-out
  • Game colours puts any layer back exactly how Tekken had it
  • Profiles – keep as many colour sets as you like and switch in one click
  • Share codes – copy a short code, paste it to a friend, done
  • Auto-updates – download once, the app keeps itself up to date (every update is signed)
  • Custom background image for the app

Supported fighters

  • Kazuya
  • Jin
  • Devil Jin
  • Reina (electrics + electric kick)
  • Heihachi (electrics + CD1 electric)

More fighters and effects are on the way.

How to use

  1. Download ElectricEditor.exe and put it anywhere you like.
  2. Start TEKKEN 8 and Electric Editor (either order).
  3. Pick a fighter, click a layer, choose Solid or Gradient.
  4. Go into a match or practice mode and throw an electric.

A green dot next to a layer means it's loaded in your current match.

Notes

  • Windows only.
  • If you used the old UE4SS version of Electric Editor, remove it first — the two will fight over the same colours.
  • Electric Editor changes colours on your screen only; your opponent sees their own colours. It's a cosmetic tool, but it does edit the game's memory while it runs, so use it online at your own risk.
  • Windows may warn about an unrecognised app the first time you run it. That's normal for new, small tools.

Open source

Electric Editor is open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence. The code, issue tracker and instructions for building it yourself are on GitHub:

To build from source you'll need Go, Node.js and the Wails CLI — see the README.
