⚠️ IMPORTANT: The Heihachi DLC is PROBABLY required ONLY FOR THE HEIHACHI versions (Heihachi Raijin Trail and Heihachi Hidden Raijin Trail). Compatibility without the Heihachi DLC has NOT been tested. Kazuya, Devil Jin, and Angel Jin versions do NOT require any DLC.

Description

Bring the signature lightning effects of Tekken 8 to your Homing Line and Blue Spark effects, for ALL CHARACTERS !!

This collection replaces the standard Homing Line and Blue Spark visual effects with original in-game Niagara effects from Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Devil Jin, and Angel Jin.

Five different versions are available, each featuring its own distinctive lightning style.

All five variants have been tested in-game.

Note: This mod does NOT affect the Homing Line effects associated with Throws (1+3 / 2+4). These effects remain unchanged.

Installation instructions

Download the version you want.
Extract the archive.
Open your Tekken 8 installation directory and navigate to:

TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Content\Paks\LogicMods
Place the .pak, .ucas and .utoc files inside the LogicMods folder.
Launch the game and enjoy your new lightning effects!

Note: If the LogicMods folder doesn't exist, create it manually.

Steam users: Right-click TEKKEN 8 in your Steam Library → Manage → Browse local files to locate your game installation directory.

Main features

Available versions:

Heihachi Raijin Trail: Replaces the default effects with Heihachi Mishima's lightning trail.
Heihachi Hidden Raijin Trail: An alternative version featuring Heihachi's Hidden Raijin lightning trail.
Kazuya Raijin Trail: Replaces the default effects with Kazuya Mishima's signature lightning.
Devil Jin Raijin Trail: Replaces the default effects with Devil Jin's original lightning effects.
Angel Jin Raijin Trail: Replaces the default effects with Angel Jin's lightning effects.

Additional features:

Uses original in-game Niagara effects from Tekken 8.
Replaces Homing Line and Blue Spark visual effects.
Visual effects only.
No gameplay mechanics, character moves, or damage values are modified.

Requirements

Tekken 8 installed on PC.
Heihachi DLC probably required for the two Heihachi versions. Compatibility without the DLC has not been tested.
No additional DLC required for Kazuya, Devil Jin, or Angel Jin versions.

Tools Used

FModel – Game asset exploration and extraction.
Visual Studio Code – C# development and script editing.
UAssetAPI – Unreal Engine asset modification.
retoc / retoc_cli – IoStore packaging (.pak, .ucas, .utoc).
Oodle 2.9.10 – Unreal Engine compression support.
